GLOBALG.AP has developed the TR4 Biosecurity Add-on, a tool that offers producers a risk mitigation plan with the intention of preventing the introduction (and/or further spread) of the TR4 pathogen to, within and from farms GLOBALG.AP certified

  • What does it mean?

    Unlike the other add-ons, the R4T Biosecurity Add-on is an evaluation and not a certificate. This means that producers certified under IFA (for bananas only) will be able to request their CBs to carry out the Biosecurity R4T assessment together with the annual IFA audit and will subsequently receive proof of the assessment. The result of the evaluation will be visible in the GLOBALG.AP Database.
